yesterday:
5:30 a.m. - wake up
6:30 a.m. - leave house
6:51 a.m. - call Derek to say good morning. i am sure he loves this. most mornings i am a little bitter that he gets to sleep 3-5 hours more than me so why not wake him up to chat for a few minutes you know?
7:40 a.m. - arrive at school
8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. - teach teach teach
4:00 p.m. - leave school
4:30 p.m. - meet Derek at Starbucks for 15 minutes
5:00 p.m. - meet mom and florist at Valley Shepherd for final meeting and such
6:15 p.m. - leave church
7:45 p.m. - meet Derek and Josh (our photographer, and friend) for final meeting
8:45 p.m. - leave Eagle for home
9:20 p.m. - home!
9:45-10:45 p.m. - look through 20 or so albums to pick pictures for wedding slideshow (apparently my family looooves pictures)
11:20 p.m. - bed!
12:00 a.m. - Derek calls to say goodnight and chat? (note the question mark)
12:03 a.m. - back in bed!
don't be exhausted from reading this (ok, i was a little from writing it even)...BUT...
the good news is:
--God is love.
--i get married 2 weeks from tomorrow!
--Disneyland!
--i don't have to say good-flippin'-night to Derek anymore (goodnight has become a cuss word)!
--i love my new teaching job!
--i'm not sick!
--i'm going to have a nephew soon!
the good far outweighs the busy. life is lovely. oh, and so is my almost husband :).

mmm, yes. not having to say goodnight makes it all worth it. you can do it!
I told Derek today that this his last Sunday on worship team as a single man!
Before our wedding everything was the last. last Thursday to wake up single, last Tuesday morning to get a starbucks single, last Saturday to put my shoes on in the morning single:) So your last officially start soon!!! Woohooo
You make me tired! But I get to see you in just over a WEEK! I'm glad you love your job and I'm glad you're going to marry your best friend. That way you can still say good night but then turn over and go to sleep...or whatever... HOORAY! :)
